1. Preconditions Before Testing
Ensure the following conditions are met before starting the test:
The elevator car is levelled within the door zone;
Upper and lower door zone signals (X1, X3) are valid;
Upper and lower safety door zone signals are valid (X2 or FL1/FL2 on the UCMP board);
The elevator is in inspection mode (machine room inspection);
Landing doors and car doors are fully closed, and the door interlock circuit is complete;
The system has no active faults.
2. Enter UCMP Test Mode
Set parameter F3-24 = 2 via the handheld operator, or set F-8 = 7 via the main board keypad.
At this point, the display shows E88, indicating that the system has entered UCMP test mode.

3. Simulate Door Lock Disconnection
Remove the UCMP connector from the control cabinet interface board to simulate disconnection of the door interlock circuit.
4. Start Test Operation
Press Inspection Up (slow) or Inspection Down (slow) to start the test run.
The main board door-closing relay will immediately output.
The safety circuit board will temporarily bridge the door interlock circuit.
5. UCMP Protection Trigger
Continue running in inspection mode until the car moves out of the safety door zone.
The safety circuit board will stop bridging the door interlock circuit due to loss of the safety zone signal;
The door interlock circuit opens;
The brake loses power and stops the elevator;
The system reports fault E65 (UCMP Fault);
The main board digital display shows the fault code.

6. Fault Reset
In inspection mode:
Press the STOP button on the handheld operator, or
Set F-2 = 1 on the main board keypad
to manually reset the fault.
The test run is now complete.
7. Post-Test Recovery
Reinstall the UCMP connector;
Switch from Inspection Mode back to Automatic Mode;
After doors are closed, the system will automatically return to the door zone.
Notes
If the elevator is not in inspection mode, not in the door zone, or if the door lock is invalid, setting F-8 = 7 or F3-24 = 2 will not take effect.
After setting F-8 = 7 or F3-24 = 2, the parameter will automatically reset to zero after one operation or after power-off.
Fault E65 cannot be reset automatically; it must be reset manually, and it cannot be cleared by power cycling.
