The weather is getting colder — remember to clean the oil and grime off the elevator wire ropes! Otherwise, slippage or rope misalignment may occur.
But! There’s a right way to do it. ❗
Never clean the wire ropes while the elevator is running in inspection or full-speed mode!

Safety comes first — especially for new technicians in the field.
